Musical Direction & Conducting

As an experienced conductor of orchestras, brass bands and other ensembles, as well as a rounded professional musician, I'm able to interpret music from various genres to a high level, understand complex rhythms and harmonies, listen critically, problem solve, help ensembles to play musically, sight-read when required, develop the standard of playing, and chose appropriate, challenging and engaging repertoire. I also have a good understanding of baton technique and how this affects ensembles.
